JULY Building Materials Warehouse Sale

 Thank you to everyone who made our second warehouse sale such a great success.  We will be taking August off to restock with new merchandise and then open up again on September 13.  The warehouse is located at 1400 E. Geer St. and will be open one day only between 8am-12pm.  This is the only time the warehouse is open for business!  For more information click on the "Bargains and New Arrivals" link on the left side of this page.

The Hand-Me-Up Store (HHMU) sells gently used furniture, appliances, and household goods, as well as building and construction materials to the public to raise money for Habitat for Humanity.  Profits are distributed equally to Habitat of Orange and Durham Counties and used to purchase the materials needed to build homes.

The store promotes environmental awareness by keeping useful items out of landfills and giving individuals access to affordable items.

Habitat Hand-Me-Ups is now accepting donations of building and construction materials to build inventory for a future construction materials store. Please visit the "Donate" page for complete details on how to donate materials. Please do not drop off any construction materials at the Shannon Plaza location.
